Make Your MaMa Proud
Been listening to a new few sounds lately, Okay, maybe not all that new but just updating myself in the music scene. Australian radio doesn't really have much to offer to people surprisingly, considering that they've got heaps of muscial talent and are known for famous bands like silver chair, powerderfinger, savage garden, the veronicas and the one hit wonder group bardot, infamously pronounced Bar-Dot. They pretty much play old school tunes on the radio, the occasional techno/dance track, some country/folk stuff and they even air those australian idol flopps more often than they do new songs/bands/tracks/music/sounds/tunes/gigs/.
Anyway, if you haven't already heard of the 2 person band Make Your MaMa Proud, do take a listen aye. The tracks, "Tell me where it hurts" and "A little Bit" are pretty good tunes to start off with. MYMP is composed of Juris Fernandez on lead vocals, and Chin Alcantara on guitars and vocals. Their debut album is called "Soulful Acoustic". MYMP became a duo when one of their members decided to leave the group in February 2004 but this did not stop them from sharing their honest music. The duo set-up did great and as they enjoy their ride in the Philippine music scene, a new and improved MYMP emerged.
More on music, and this is written especially for Tim R Belly Lim Teck Boon whose gonna be a nasty parent who's gonna name his kid Pink Panther Lim Bei Ka Li Kong. Remember those lusty teen lesbo vixens from Tatu that he was so crazy about? Those lesbos that gave over coat wearing middle-aged men reason to tape Video Hits? I mean, who could blame Tim for behaving like a crazy wanking rabbit when their hit, "all the things she said" was released? Here were two 15 year old russian girls, hotter than magma testicles who would kiss passionately in their film clips and on stage, perform in their underpants or in Catholic School Girl uniforms and talk openly about their sexual exploits. Remember how they even squealed, "We're Singing about our love, love between girl and girl?"
The scoop is that they were formed by a Former Child Psychologists Ivan Shapovalov, who came up with the concept of Tatu, who even enlisted Lena Katina and Julia Volkova and other shit hot song writers to write songs, sell Tatu and get the world hooked by such lesbos. Anyway, in 2003 they admitted they were never lesbians, and the fucker who started the concept of Tatu was arrested for perverting the morals of under aged girls. Athough they were faced with all these shit, Tatu still had a new album released in the US last year, "Dangerous and Moving."
But lets be frank about one thing, no lesbian schtick, no give a shit. Plus, Volkova's just had a kid. Pretty damn un-lesbian behavior I'd say. Sorry Tim.
